By Air
Chennai International Airport (MAA)
Approx. 130–140 km from the venue — roughly 2.5 to 3 hours by road via NH48 (the Chennai–Bengaluru highway), depending on traffic. Prepaid taxis and app-based cabs are readily available at the airport for the drive to Vellore.
Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR)
~215 km / ~4–4.5 hrsAn alternative if you're flying in from a city with better Bengaluru connections. Approx. 210–220 km from the venue — roughly 4 to 4.5 hours by road via NH48/NH75. Prepaid taxis, app cabs, and long-distance buses to Vellore are all available from the airport.
By Rail
Katpadi Junction (KPD)
The main railway station serving Vellore, with frequent connections from Chennai and other major cities. From Katpadi, it's about 12–13 km to the Bagayam campus — roughly 20–25 minutes by taxi or auto-rickshaw. Frequent local "Katpadi–Bagayam" town buses (Route 1 & 2) also run this stretch, setting down at the College Main Gate, a short signposted walk from the New Examination Hall.
By Road
NH48 (Chennai–Bengaluru Highway)
Vellore sits directly on NH48, well connected by road to Chennai (~140 km), Bengaluru (~210 km), and other major cities in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. Interstate and long-distance buses to/from Chennai (via Koyambedu), Bengaluru, and other regional hubs arrive and depart from the Vellore New Bus Terminus (New Bus Stand) on NH48 near Green Circle — about 9 km / 20 minutes from the venue by taxi or auto-rickshaw. Taxis and self-drive are also straightforward via the same NH48 corridor.
